Considerations for who should get Tested

  • People who have symptoms of COVID-19. Click HERE to access the CDC Coronavirus Self-Checker Tool.

  • People who have had closes contact* with someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19.

* Someone who was within 6 feet of an infected person for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period starting from 2 days before illness onset (or, for asymptomatic patients, 2 days prior to test specimen collection) until the time the patient is isolated.

  • People who have been asked or referred to get testing by their healthcare provider, local or state health department.

  • People that are required to have a negative test prior to travel or participation in an activity.

Not everyone needs to be tested

If you do get tested, you should self-quarantine/isolate at home pending test results and follow the advice of your health care provider or a public health professional. Click HERE for latest recommendations on self-quarantine/isolation from the CDC.

If the test is for TRAVEL/ACTIVITY and you want to make sure it will be accepted by relevant authorities

RAPID TEST (BINAXNOW™ COVID-19 Ag CARD AND NAVICA™ MOBILE APP)

results available in 15 minutes  $45

PCR  TEST (PrimeLab; results generally available next day)  $129

  4. Sample collected from via swab from nasal, nasopharyngeal, or oropharyngeal areas.  

PCR TEST (UDX Laboratories; results generally available next day) $145

  3. Do not eat or drink anything 15 minutes prior to the test

  4. You may submit receipt to your insurance for reimbursement

Qualitative Antibody Test (Assure COVID-19 IgG/IgM Rapid Test) results available in 15 minutes $45

4. Used to determine the presence of antibodies against COVID-19.

  • This test does not quantify the amount of circulating antibodies, nor does it diagnose an acute infection of SARS-CoV-2.
